Our Mission:
At McLean Robotics, we make STEM accessible. We inspire passion. We build confidence. We empower students of all backgrounds to become tomorrow's innovators through hands-on robotics education that transforms curiosity into capability.
Our Story
McLean Robotics emerged in 2025 from a community of dedicated volunteers who spent five years nurturing young talent through FIRST LEGO League competitions. Drawing on this experience, Prthika Lanka of Langley High School, founded our nonprofit organization to broaden access to quality STEM education, ensuring that every child—regardless of background—has the opportunity to explore robotics, develop critical skills, and unlock their potential as tomorrow's innovators.
Run by the dedicated members of Langley High School's students, McLean Robotics represents a student-driven commitment to giving back. Our volunteers from Langley High School support kids and the community in enhancing STEM education, bringing mentorship, technical expertise, and genuine enthusiasm to every program we offer.
We understand the challenges and triumphs of competitive robotics because we've lived them. From building our first robots to competing on regional and national stages, we've developed not just technical skills but also problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and resilience. Now, we're channeling that experience into creating opportunities for the next generation of innovators.
